Fue un honor trabajar con \u00e9l, con miras al logro de nuestra visi\u00f3n compartida de\u00a0<em>Tratamiento para todos<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de los muchos desaf\u00edos personales surgidos de su trastorno de la coagulaci\u00f3n, Virgil nunca se desanim\u00f3 en su b\u00fasqueda de mejores opciones de tratamiento para los pacientes de su pa\u00eds, y siempre enfrent\u00f3 los retos con la determinaci\u00f3n y el humor que lo caracterizaban. Desde ni\u00f1o se afili\u00f3 a la Sociedad para Trastornos Sangu\u00edneos Hereditarios y Graves, y se comprometi\u00f3 profundamente con su comunidad organizando campa\u00f1as de recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos e incrementando la conciencia acerca de los trastornos de la coagulaci\u00f3n. Gracias al Programa de becas juveniles de la FMH, Virgil particip\u00f3 en el Congreso mundial 2014 de la FMH en Melbourne, Australia. Ah\u00ed conoci\u00f3 a personas de todo el mundo, aprendi\u00f3 acerca de sus experiencias, y adquiri\u00f3 nuevas habilidades.
