Su cooptaci\u00f3n es testimonio de sus invaluables contribuciones a la FMH.<\/p>\n<p>Hermans encabeza la Divisi\u00f3n de Hematolog\u00eda, la Unidad de Hemostasia y Trombosis, y el Centro de Hemofilia del Hospital Universitario Saint-Luc, en Bruselas, B\u00e9lgica. Fue nombrado profesor titular de la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Lovaina en 2012, y vicerrector en 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Es autor y coautor de m\u00e1s de 360 art\u00edculos originales en peri\u00f3dicos internacionales y es miembro de diversas sociedades cient\u00edficas, consejos asesores internacionales y proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n colaborativos. Fue presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Europea para la Hemofilia y Trastornos Afines (EAHAD por su sigla en ingl\u00e9s), y actualmente es editor en jefe de <em>Haemophilia<\/em>, el peri\u00f3dico oficial de la FMH.<\/p>\n<p>La invaluable experiencia de C\u00e9dric Hermans como miembro m\u00e9dico continuar\u00e1 siendo de gran valor para la FMH.
