She has received numerous awards including the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society 2023, Lifetime Achievement Award, named one of the \u201cWomen in Medicine\u201d by FWGBD, \"Eternal Spirit\u201d award from Coalition for Hemophilia B, \u201cFairy Godmother to women with Hemophilia\u201d by Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan, National Hemophilia Foundations (NHF\u2019s) \u201cPhysician of the Year\u201d in 2003 and Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008, the MSU \u201cDistinguished Faculty\u201d award, and distinguished service awards from the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and CDC.
